CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION
CLE ELIGIBILITY
CLE COMPLIANT IN MANY STATES
These coaching sessions may qualify for CLE if your state allows on-demand, video-based CLE courses to satisfy part of your CLE requirements. Typically, online CLE courses must:
- Be taught by an attorney – check!
- Have handouts – check!
- Have progress quizzes and/or knowledge tests – check!
- Supply a recording – check!
- Have content that applies to the practice of law – check!
Each coaching session on Lawyer to Lawyer Business Development Coaching comes with a certificate of completion. Each module contains an extensive outline, the video coaching session at approximately one hour, progress quizzes throughout the online session, integrated takeaways, and handout(s) and is estimated to take 2-4 hours to complete. Learn in short 5-8 minute sessions in each module. Start and stop or pause as/when you have time. The platform tracks your progress. 30 minutes of live coaching with Doug included in each module. Continuing legal education (CLE) requirements, as well as the types of courses that qualify, vary by state.Â
Your state may have a CLE category like: Law Practice Management that has online CLE courses. For example, Arizona has on demand and recordings of live events, such as Grow your Practice with 3 Simple (and Free) Marketing Strategies that Work Every Time (1 CLE credit, on-demand format) and (Showing) How To Improve Your Office’s Efficiency Through The Better Use of Word and Excel (6 CLE credits, including 6 Ethics CLE credits, video of recorded 6.5 hour live event).
In New York the Law Practice Management CLE courses include: Ask Me Anything: LinkedIn for Lawyers (1 CLE credit, on-demand format).
California does not allow MCLE credit for courses/activities on how to improve marketing, for business development, and/or client development.
Check your state’s requirements to decide how many CLE credits you can take online and if the course(s) you take here qualifies for credit.
